Born on May 17, 1902 in Sofia. Graduated painting at the State Academy of Arts (today NHA) (1920-1925) in the class of Prof. N. Marinov. He got acquainted with the art of many European countries - Italy, France, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary. After his return, he was a teacher in Sofia, and from 1945 to 1950 he was a docent at VIII "N. Pavlovich" (today NHA).

Works in the field of painting, graphics, mosaics, ceramics. He regularly participates in the exhibitions of the Society of New Artists, in the OHI of the SBH and in international and collective exhibitions in Zagreb, Milan, Venice, Paris, Athens, Chicago, New York, Vienna, Berlin, Dresden, Budapest, Moscow, Delhi, etc. He received many high awards for his performances.

His works are in the possession of NHH, SGHH, GH in Pleven, Kazanlak and other state and private collections, as well as in Athens, New York, Paris, Turin, Chicago.

He died on September 4, 1997 in Sofia.
